Through out my life, I have always been concerned with Security and the Satanic Lifestyle... being an extremely active Member of the Church of Satan during the 90s Satanic Panic shed some interesting truths on to me (I even stood up in Court to defend our right to allow Satanism on the Internet (most people don't remember that)). We are an organization of Elite thinkers who openly go against the beliefs of some extremely powerful religious organizations and governments. Now I am not one for conspiracy theories and the like but I am also not a stupid person. If, say in the future, extreme Christians were to hold the majority of Congress or the Senate, they could possibly pass laws that would affect our public display of our religious beliefs. In other words welcome to the Salem Witch hunts of the modern age. We would be forced back underground again (which is not the end of the world, we adapt).

Regardless, it is always better to be safe than sorry. There are select Members of our organization that publicly defend our organization, this is the choice they have made, to allow the public to know who they are (at least a little bit about them). With the popularity of internet places like facebook and the belief that they would never do anything to harm you (as they state) everyone has gotten quite comfortable posting and messaging just about anything on these sites. This data has been used by the government to find terrorists and other evil people (which I support fully) but in the grand scheme of things, if someone wants to find you for some reason, say because your a Satanist... its really not that hard as Facebook openly admits that your data will be given over to any organization for the right price. This seriously concerns me, for my safety and my families safety.

I have always been a firm believer in the face that our internal religious dealings should stay internal... so ever since I started my Satanic Internet Projects, I have developed systems that allow us to keep our business to ourselves. We do not need facebook to communicate with each other, the only thing we need facebook for is to reach a wider audience in search of like minded people (which we can then point them here). This also allows us to control the mis-information that always spreads. We know there are three sides to every story, well keeping things internal allows you to hear all three sides instead of having a facebook battle that gets so distracting and congested that the truth never gets out (we've all been there, don't lie).... and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

I started the Satanic Network back in the 90's, which evolved in to the Letters to the Devil Forums and then in 2008 I started the first iteration of the Undercroft, the Social Network of the Satanic Elite. The Undercroft had been running for over 10 years, providing a safe and secure place for Satanists around the world to call home. Sadly, the Undercroft software became out of date and no longer functional so I built a fresh and new system now called Svtvnic (Satanic but more domain friendly when browsing). Svtvnic allows you to carve out your own section of the internet to discuss issues that matter to Satanists freely and without fear of backlash.

Hense the reason my Facebook Profile just advertises (to help Like-Minded people find the Church of Satan and Dr. LaVey), nothing more... everything else, I do on the Undercroft.
